Redesigning High School - Moving Forward
Moving Forward with High School Redesign
St. Timothy has now begun to implement our plan for High School Redesign. As part of our redesign, we have created two enrichment periods that will take place on Tuesday and Thursdays, see attached new Bell schedule to see times.
Students will have a brief T.A. every Monday to help students sign up on Power School for a wide variety of enrichment classes.
There is an attached document providing details about St. Tim's redesign as well as how students can sign up for an enrichment class using our website.
If you have questions, please contact the school at 403-500-2106

Moving Forward with High School Redesign builds on what was learned from the High School Flexibility Enhancement Pilot Project and other High School Completion work.
Through Moving Forward with High School Redesign, teachers, principals and superintendents have been encouraged and supported in working with students, parents, and community members to rethink and redesign high schools across Alberta to become increasingly student centered. This work is critical as we prepare students to be active, engaged and successful participants in an increasingly knowledge-based and globalized society.
The Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortia (ARPDC) are dedicated to promoting student learning and achievement, school improvement and parental engagement in the educational process through the provision of professional learning opportunities and professional learning resources.
